Bay Area Book Festival
Internships (for units):
Interested in learning the ins-and-outs of creating a world class literary festival? Intern with the Bay Area Book Festival for academic credit! The festival, which will take place April 28-29 in downtown Berkeley, is now accepting interns to receive course credit through Rhetoric 197 enrollment. The internship is an excellent opportunity for students to learn what is required to produce a major literary event, and can be tailored to suit a variety of interests. For example, a student may choose to focus on marketing and communications, theater management, sponsorship development and management, or international author programming, among other areas. To learn more about the internship — including how to apply — email sabrina@baybookfest.org. Applications are competitive and open now; don’t hesitate to reach out!
