About:Face -- a community quilt

Guided by artist Shirin Towfiq, decorate your own quilt patches with drawings and personal messages for a bigger communal quilt that will address issues of identity and double consciousness. This workshop is held alongside the current exhibit, Face to Face: Looking at Objects That Look at You, and is free with museum admission. Shirin Towfiq received her BA in Practice of Art from University of California, Berkeley in 2016 and is currently working towards her Master of Fine Arts degree at Stanford University. Shirin’s interest is in community building and community betterment using Socially Engaged art projects.
