Organized and coordinated by Laura Belik (PhD Student in Architecture) sponsored by the College of Environmental Design’s Diversity Platforms Initiative, the Screening Series: URBAN RIGHTS IN BRAZIL puts a spotlight on cities, urban democracy, public space, and housing focusing on contemporary Brazilian conflicts. Screenings of iconic documentaries will be followed by discussions led by faculty, scholars and graduate students from a variety of backgrounds, interpreting and engaging with topics on the Right to the City from interdisciplinary perspectives. Events are free and open to all!
