The Botanical Garden has an amazing diversity of trees to inspire us. In this two day workshop, we’ll look at the growth, forms and energy of trees - translating what we see and experience with pen and ink, pencil and colored pencil. We will work in a variety of techniques, from quick gestural drawings to detailed studies. Trunks, roots, branches and leaves and various approaches to capturing their likenesses will round out our inquiry.
