In 2015, a group of Mapuche university students organized the first ever Mapuche language revitalization camp. Over 50 students from across Chile came together for one month to be a part of the struggle to learn and preserve the indigenous Mapuche language. This documentary follows the stories of four participants over the course of three years in their process of decolonization by way of learning their maternal language and examining the hegemonic forces that are responsible for its disappearance. With the wind I have walked the path that allows me to recognize myself as Mapuche who doesn't need papers or last names. Walking with the wind, I carry discrimination and being uprooted by a homogenizing nation. The good winds have helped me learn formally as a professor of Physical Education in the Catholic University of Valparaiso, a doctorate degree in Education from the University of Granada and a diploma in University Teaching from the University of Santiago, where I am currently working as a teacher and researcher. I have travelled through Chile and other countries working with the Mapuche games. I have learned from the contexts and pretexts that have made me an accomplice in the beliefs of autonomy, liberty, empathy and emancipation in order to confront the historic hegemonic yokes that diminish diversity and the wonderful subjectivity of humanity and of life.
