Celebrate mama birds at this pre-mother's day workshop. Kids and their favorite grown up are invited to team up and collaborate on this simple construction project. Working with carpenter and designer, Hannah Beatrice Quinn, assemble the birdhouse with hammer and nails, paint it, and add finishing touches with materials from the Garden. The birdhouse is ready to install in your yard, deck, or gift to a friend. Recommended for kids age 6 and up. Basic registration ($40) includes one birdhouse kit for one adult and one child. Add additional family members ($5-$12) to team up in the building or purchase another ($40) kit to make an additional birdhouse. All materials will be provided but please bring a box or bag to carry your birdhouse home.
