refractions (abstract11), 2018.
“refractions.” is a collection of digital illustrations utilizing photos in an intuitive, textural manner, explorations of atmosphere, refraction & composition are made. Utilizing elements of glitch art, & digital illustration. Illustrations utilize heavily edited digital media (cell phone photos, older illustrations, etc), to resemble a variety of abstractions observing the artists’ identity, gender expression & interpersonal trauma. "abstract11" is a collage/illustration of the artist's sister at various ages.
