Obsessive Compulsive Disorder - a heavy weight these three words carry for those who have it. Still, there is beauty in the ugly, calm in the chaotic, and temporality in the infinite. Growing up as a dancer and as a child with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), filmmaker Julia Menyhart's body slowly morphed into a mockery of elegance. How can one dance with clenched fists? How can one move through time and space when constantly faced with the untouchable? How can the uncomfortable be faced without hesitation? This film creates a world that overthrows the idea that there is only one way to see existence. It lets viewers into the intimate movements and rituals of one person with OCD with the use of repetition and lyrical film. This is not a film meant to help people understand OCD, it is a personal deep-dive into the world of one person who suffers from it.
