    Conco Construction, 2021.

Construction workers look foreign to the common person; like aliens or astronauts landing on new territory. We never see them up close just from a distance: typically a distance we would like to keep from them. They are known to execute the intrusive actions and noises that disrupt our everyday lives, whether on our way to work, or coming home from a long day at school. To us, they may represent all that is unfinished in civilization, or perhaps, all that is imperfect and messy. In this way, we simply see them as construction workers.
However, they are literal builders of American society. This shows in the structures they build for us, and in this workforce's diversity of people, race, and culture; representing the well-known melting pot America was founded upon.
