An occupied squat, the house faces impending eviction. With the assassination of her colleague Marielle Franco and the rise of Right-wing candidate Bolsonaro, saving Casa Nem is more urgent each day. Indianara invades and occupies a colonial palace in downtown Rio to bargain with the city for a new shelter for Casa Nem. As Brazilian democracy crumbles, she fights to save her community from the uncertain streets.
