American Cultures Student Prize

Awarded since 2008, the prize provides current students with the opportunity to highlight work taken in any American Cultures course at UC Berkeley which promotes understanding of race, ethnicity, and culture. Learn more and apply.

Cal Performances

Inventive Australian troupe Circa will be performing in the latest production, II Ritorno, live on stage with acrobats at Zellerbach Hall, in addition to a movement workshop and a pre-performance talk with the artists. More information available here.

Dorothea Lange Photography Prize

Richmond Opportunity

The Richmond Arts & Culture Commission, the Iron Triangle Neighborhood Council, and the Richmond Museum of History, in collaboration with UC Berkeley,  are seeking 1-2 student interns (work-study or for credit) to work on the “Community Conversations” Project this and next academic year. 

The project and work will entail assisting on the formation of workshops - between November and January - where residents from the Iron Triangle neighborhood in Richmond will identify elements and examples of local neighborhood culture they want preserved. The resulting project exhibition will also be part of the UC Berkeley 2018 “Arts & Design Mondays at BAMPFA” program series entitled “Public Re-Assembly”.
