Student Opportunities: December 2017

UC Berkeley’s Arts and Design Initiative
Work-Study Position Available

The Arts and Design Initiative is seeking friendly, responsible, undergraduate work-study candidates to support a broad range of responsibilities in our Dwinelle Annex office. Students assist with outreach and communications, events, and administration, including helping to update and maintain the Arts + Design website and social media accounts. Ideal candidates have great attention to detail, are interested in social media (such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter) and operating website platforms (such as Drupal), and have an overall interest in arts and design. Knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop is a plus. This is an excellent opportunity for those of you looking to acquire valuable work experience in a team-centered office dedicated to supporting campus arts and design.

Send your current resume and a cover letter (no more than one page) to Amber Fogarty (afogarty@berkeley.edu). Include information on your availability. Special consideration will be given to freshmen, sophomore, or juniors who might continue in this role for 1-3 years. The position is open to students with work study eligibility only.

The Arts and Design Initiative features, fortifies, and mobilizes existing excellence in the arts and design at UC Berkeley, while fostering new forms of dynamic collaboration, innovation, and public access across all arts and design fields, on our campus and in public life.
