Healing Courtyard - Downtown Berkeley Domestic Violence Shelter, 2019.
Healing Courtyard - Downtown Berkeley Domestic Violence shelter is a place for individuals and families to heal in. This project aims to create different scales of healing spaces to provide victims with the opportunity to create their own path during the healing process. By providing space for both individual and group healing, the clients can partake in a range of therapeutic activities at their own pace. The courtyard is considered as a microcosm of society, providing clients with a place to play and connect with one another as they prepare to transition out of the facility.
