Sherry Goodman

Bio

Sherry Goodman, Director of Education and Academic Relations at the Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive, has designed public programming and interpretive components for the museum's exhibitions and collections for over twenty-five years. After doing graduate work in American and European modern art history at Columbia University, she taught at Columbia and at Vassar College and worked in museum education at NYMoMA and the Metropolitan Museum of Art before moving to the Bay Area.  In 2010 Sherry taught American art and culture at Hanoi University as a Fulbright Senior Specialist. She has a special interest in ways that BAMPFA can provide experiences outside the classroom that enhance student learning and enrich student experience, including partnering with the Berkeley Connect program.
