Bio

Gillian Robin is a third year History and Art History student. Outside of Arts and Design, Gillian is the Vice Chair of the BAMPFA Student Committee and an organizing member of Students United for Reproductive Justice (SURJ) at Berkeley. Her research interests include the role of craft, globalization, and migration in contemporary art of the Americas, the exhibition and conservation of art and material culture, and the role of urban planning in arts display and education. Next semester, Gillian will be in London attending a Curatorial and Museum Studies Program at Sotheby’s Art Institute. After graduation, she plans on furthering her education in Museum and Visual Studies.
