Isolation Tower, 2019.
In order for architecture to be resilient, we must look and understand what the changing roles of a building are. In the site of Pacifica, the community is only connected to the rest of the world via 1 Highway. Facing isolation, flooding, earthquakes, tsunamis, and earthquakes, to protect this community, there are 4 roles building plays: a recreation center prior to the disaster, an emergency site during the disaster, a temporary medical site post disaster, and finally a homeless shelter and caretaker center for those who lost their homes.
